Tristan Thrasher wins the U16 5K individual start skate race, and Henry Magill wins the 7.5K U18/U20 race. More athletes had top-ten finishes throughout the race days. Charley Lodwick U20 and Tig Loomis U16 had the second fastest time in the classic sprint qualifier.

Riley McNew wins U19 women's category and Cooper Malia wins U15 men's. Madden Broyles was 2nd in the U15 women's competition in her first Big Mountain event.

Cross country ski athlete Henry Magill placed 5th U18, just 6 seconds off the podium, at the Bauhaus Cup interval start classic ski race in Falun, Sweden, on January 21, 2024. He is traveling with an elite group of U18 U.S. skiers for the U18 Scandinavian Trip, providing international race experience to the best cross country skiers in the U.S.

Katharina Cosby won two back-to-back women’s giant slalom race days at the U18 U.S. National Championship qualifiers on Friday, January 19, and Saturday, January 20, in Breckenridge, Colorado. Teammate Curtis Zanni won the men’s giant slalom race on Saturday, January 21.
