Logan Grosdidier dominates the women's races in Winter Park with a 1st-place finish! These races provided a valuable baseline for the athletes to assess their standing in the new season of alpine racing. Conditions were excellent, and the team demonstrated readiness and preparedness for the competition.
The Murphy Roberts Holiday Classic alpine ski race wrapped up after two days of giant slalom races at Steamboat Ski Resort and two days of slalom races at Howelsen Hill. This year’s event featured over 220 top regional, collegiate, and nationally ranked racers from around the U.S. and nearly 20 other nations, with 16 colleges and universities represented and many U.S. Ski Team members.
This past weekend, 37 SSWSC cross country athletes traveled to Granby, CO, to race in the first two Rocky Mountain Division races. Races were held at Snow Mountain Ranch - one of the state’s most extensive trail systems for cross country skiing.
SSWSC freestyle moguls athletes just returned from U.S. Freestyle selections at Winter Park. With NorAm and World Cup spots on the line, nine athletes put in their best effort in singles and duals competitions.
