Sydney Soard Wins U15 Vail RQS Moguls Competition
The U15 freestyle moguls team braved the elements to open the competition season at Rocky Mountain Freestyle’s first Rocky Qualifier Series (RQS) competition of the season in Vail, Colorado on January 14. Sydney Soard, Kensie Ricketts, Lucy Gray, Ella Colon, Cole Anderson, Aiden Kottcamp, Henry Crump, and Max Marrs all competed in the event.

SSWSC’s up-and-coming mogul stars persevered through tough weather conditions to stick to their goal of opening the season strong. In high winds and freezing temperatures, Sydney Soard won the girl’s competition, followed by Kensie Ricketts in 7th and Lucy Gray in 10th. Cole Anderson had the best result of the day for the boys, finishing in 6th place. All in all, everyone that competed impressed their coaches. Nice job!
