At the conclusion of the series, seven SSWSC athletes qualify to compete in the U16 Rocky/Central Championships next week from March 14 to 18 in Vail, Colorado.

Cooper Malia was the only SSWSC athlete to represent the SSWSC at the IFSA Freeride Junior National Competition, which was held at Snowbird, UT, from February 29 to March 3.

Grosdidier's journey to this international stage was paved by her exceptional showing during the National Performance Series at Burke Mountain earlier this year, securing her qualification among elite competitors.

On March 2-3, three freeski athletes competed in the USASA Rail Jam and Halfpipe competitions here in Steamboat. The Rail Jam was held on Saturday at Howelsen Hill, and the Halfpipe was held at Steamboat Resort.

Aspen Snowmass hosted the latest World Cup men’s races from March 1-3. The event included two GS races and one slalom. The U16 alpine team attended the GS race on March 2 and volunteered their time to help with the slip and course crew.
