U6 Skiing, age 5
U6 is a development program for participants who are ready to ski in a group. Fundamental skiing skills and skiing as a group are introduced in an encouraging and fun way, using appropriate terrain at Steamboat Ski Resort. All skiers must be able to stop and turn by themselves before the start of the program. Skiers must be ready to ski without their parents and willingly leave the meeting area with their coaches. Participants must be 5 years old by December 31, 2024. Enrollment for this program will reach capacity. Register early.

- Skill Requirement: Ability to stop by themselves.
- Equipment: Participants need alpine ski equipment including helmets (ski poles not required).
- Passes: Participants must have a full IKON pass.
- Age: Skiers must be 5 years old by December 31, 2024. (AGE GROUP GUIDELINES)

Sunday, 8:30 a.m.-noon, January 5 – March 9 at Steamboat Resort (exact times may change due to drop-off/pick-up locations).
No training February 9 for Winter Carnival, and February 23 for Blues Break.
