Mini Cruisers | Cross-Country Winter Programs

Mini Cruisers, ages 4-5

This is an introductory, entry-level cross country skiing program where cross country skiing skills, games, and skiing adventures are introduced in a fun and supportive environment. Young skiers learn the basics of classic skiing technique, with a focus on fundamentals and fun. The program is 10 weeks long, and all sessions meet at Howelsen Hill. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

Equipment: Participants will need no-wax classic cross country skis, boots, and poles. Low-cost equipment rentals for this program are available through the Steamboat Ski Touring Center. Touring Center Season Rentals will be available starting in July. Supplies go quickly, so order early!
Skill requirement: No experience required.
Passes: Youth Nordic Season Pass to Howelsen Hill required (pass is free for kids four years and younger).
Age: 4-5 (AGE GROUP GUIDELINES)
