16 mogul athletes make the trek across the west to Mt Hood! Conditions are excellent with a 350m mogul training venue with two jumps at the bottom.
In front of a record crowd at the base of Howelsen Hill, Ella Wilson was the first woman in the 19-year history of the event to win the overall title in the ski jump elimination competition, and out of eight clubs and 74 athletes from around the country. SSWSC swept the podium with Kaden Graham and Jason Colby tying for 2nd and Thomas Miller in 3rd.
Enduro Team competed in the Big Mountain Enduro at Angel Fire Resort in New Mexico - a first for all the athletes because it was a big step up from past events. In the 12-14 category, Quinn Dressen finished on the podium in 3rd, a huge milestone and Robbie Wodnik finished just off the podium in 4th. Vander Zuck finished 7th.
The Enduro Cycling Team raced in Purgatory last Sunday, June 23 at the Revolution Enduro, their first enduro race of the season. This race was very difficult with a World Cup DH track on the course, but the riders toughed it out and came through with an awesome race.
SSWSC and Director of Sports Performance Sady Carelli are excited to announce the expansion of the Sports Performance Department. Coach Jeff Thomsen has been elevated to Senior Teams Sports Performance Coach.
