Eighty-four U9 to U15 competitors gathered from around the region to show their skills on Bashor at Steamboat Ski Resort for the Rocky Mountain Freestyle Devo Competition on January 27. The sun was warm, the moguls were soft... and the athletes brought the fire!

The U13 and U15 freestyle moguls team competed in a home event at Steamboat Ski Resort on January 27 when SSWSC hosted the Rocky Mountain Freestyle Qualifier Series on Bashor.

The U14 alpine team had their first slalom races of the season in Winter Park under sunny skies! Head Coach Joe Paul said the coaching staff really worked well together and wanted to give a special shout-out to Ellie, James, and Jeff for their efforts!

Steamboat mogul skiers headed to Vail over the weekend for the NBS Mogul Classic on the famed Dark Side. Battling a very firm and challenging moguls course, TeamSteam took no prisoners. Anabel Ayad and Jackson True took the top spots in single moguls with Xander Tatar-Brown taking bronze, Liam Siefken placing 7th and Mia Satkiewicz taking 8th. In duals, Mia Satkiewicz earned the win, with Anabel Ayad taking third.

The 2024 Youth Olympic Games are concluding in Gangwon, South Korea, and SSWSC athletes are returning home to Steamboat with amazing experiences and some medals. Ella Wilson, Arthur Tirone, Sawyer Graves, Jason Colby, Estella Hassrick, Grey Barbier, Abby McLarnon, and Rocke Weinberg all represented the United States and Steamboat at the games.
