The camp is open to all athletes YOB 2007 and older. Mammoth is a terrific skiing and training venue. We will ski a LOT during this camp. The focus will be on quality mileage appropriate to each athlete’s needs. There will be free skiing and training in SL and GS. Again, volume and timing of gated training will depend on your child’s needs at any given point during the camp.
Mammoth and the surrounding area offer many great outdoor activities. There are fields in Mammoth Lakes and down in the warm climate of Bishop. There are hiking and biking trails, hot springs, and plenty of room to play games and enjoy off-snow activities in free time.
We will have a handful of chaperones and medical staff on hand to help with athletes of all ages. We recognize that there will be some very young participants at this camp. We will ensure that they have the supervision and attention that they need.
Lodging and meals will be through the Mammoth Mountain Inn, directly at the base of the ski area. The package is all inclusive: lodging, meals, lifts, lanes, etc. Food on travel days is the responsibility of the athlete. Some potential extracurricular activities may cost athletes money should they participate.
Any questions, please contact Adam Chadbourne. Some scholarship funds are likely available to those with need.
