A team of eight SSWSC ski jumping and nordic combined athletes and two coaches traveled to Park City, UT, July 16-20 for the 25th Annual Springer Tournee. The Springer Tournee is an annual week-long camp attended by athletes, usually representing all US divisions and Canada, that ends with exciting competitions for all age groups. The nordic combined cross country races were held at Solider Hollow in Midway, and the jumping events were held at the Utah Olympic Park near Park City. The week was highlighted by a national team mentorship and field session day, many quality training sessions, social gatherings, and competitions that concluded with a large hill target jump event followed by a live band, food trucks, and a beer garden to celebrate the week.

In all, SSWSC athletes finished the week with 15 podium finishes. Highlights include Arthur Tirone’s 1st place finish in the U20, Nordic Combined US Cup and second place in ski jumping, Arthur Keller’s 2nd place in both U14 ski jumping and nordic combined, and Kaden Graham going past the K point (120m) on his first ever jump on a large hill.
