The 19th Annual Jumpin’ and Jammin’ Ski Jumping Extravaganza was absolutely spectacular on Wednesday and Thursday, July 3-4. Temperatures were the coolest in years, and the crowd was the hottest! Over 3,000 people packed into the jump flats at Howelsen Hill for food, music, otter pops, and incredible jumping from the athletes. The band rocked, the kids played, and the jumpers impressed guests from all over the country. SSWSC athletes had two days of stellar ski jumping and nordic combined action. Ella Wilson was the first woman in the 19-year history of the event to win the overall title in the ski jump elimination competition, and out of eight clubs and 74 athletes from around the country. SSWSC swept the podium with Kaden Graham and Jason Colby tying for 2nd and Thomas Miller in 3rd. SSWSC athletes also dominated the podium in the nordic combined competition and ski jumping competition on July 3. COMPLETE RESULTS HERE.
