U10 and U13 Moguls Teams Finish Strong Season at Winter Park
U10 and U13 Moguls Teams Finish Strong Season at Winter Park
What do you get when you combine 19-ish weeks of hard work and dedication, 15 athletes, a few coaches, slush, sunshine, and St. Patrick’s Day? Lots of sparkling green crushing down the mogul course. Maybe the team was in search of Leprechauns?
All green jokes aside, Team Steam U10s and U13s crushed Winter Park’s famed Ambush mogul course during Saturday, March 16, single moguls event with standout results. Avery Middledorf won the U13 girls competition, and Sam Pulford closed out the season on the podium in 3rd for U13 boys.
Finals also meant the first opportunity of the season for U13s to compete in duals—for most, it was their first-ever experience stepping into the gate, paired against U15s on a course with two airs. It was an exciting and thrilling close to the season and a Saint Patty’s Day display of bravery, grit, and perseverance!
What a season! Bravo!!
