Snowboard Athletes Podium at Howelsen Hill and Crested Butte
Howelsen Hill hosted four USASA Rocky Mountain Series snowboard alpine races on February 17 with two giant slalom and two slalom races throughout the day. Cooper Malia finished with one DQ and one gold medal in the giant slalom races and two gold medals in the slalom races.  Thomas Halberg finished with one silver and one bronze in the giant slalom races and two silver medals in the slalom races.

Senior Team athletes Cooper Malia and Riley McNew traveled to Crested Butte for the IFSA Level 3 National Freeride competition February 22-25.  Despite recovering from the flu, Cooper Malia qualified for the finals and finished with a silver medal overall.  Riley McNew also qualified for the finals and finished fourth overall.
