Jump Nordic Combined Athletes Qualify for Junior World Championships
The ski jumping and nordic combined teams returned from the most recent U.S. Cup in Park City last weekend and six SSWSC athletes qualifying to compete in the Junior World Championships - Jason Colby, Estella Hassrick, and Sawyer Graves qualified for ski jumping, and Haley Brabec, Arthur Tirone, and Ella Wilson qualified for nordic combined. Coach Karl Denney said, “We are so proud of the athletes. They are really crushing it this year; in fact, 100% of our age-eligible athletes qualified for Junior World Championships”. The 2024 FIS Nordic Junior/U23 Cross-Country World Ski Championships will take place in Planica, Slovenia from February 5-11, 2024.
