The SSWSC Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined team just returned from their annual 2-week European training camp! This year, the team traveled to five venues across Slovenia, Germany, and Austria. The crew was bigger than ever, with 14 Steamboat athletes plus eight more from across the USA. The coaches, Garrett Fisk and Karl Denney designed the trip to include a balance of jump training, aerobic training, lifestyle lessons, cultural education, fun activities, and opportunities to visit equipment manufacturers directly at their factories.

Twenty-four athletes, seventeen parents, and four coaches from the SSWSC Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined program ended the summer season by participating in the club’s annual Flight Camp at the Utah Olympic Park in Park City, UT, August 13-17

The high school mountain bike season is right around the corner, and athletes have been training all summer to prepare for race season at the end of the month. During the Emerald Mountain Epic this weekend, the team hosted a bike wash fundraiser to help cover some team travel expenses.

A group of cycling athletes had an incredible time on the first-ever SSWSC bikepacking adventure on Monday and Tuesday, August 5 and 6! The team rode to the stunning Fish Creek Lake and explored some of the breathtaking Divide Trail. The views were absolutely spectacular, and the experience was unforgettable!

A team of eight SSWSC ski jumping and nordic combined athletes and two coaches traveled to Park City, UT, July 16-20 for the 25th Annual Springer Tournee. The Springer Tournee is an annual week-long camp attended by athletes, usually representing all US divisions and Canada, that ends with exciting competitions for all age groups.
