Nordic Combined

The summer season is coming to a close for the SSWSC Jumping and Nordic Combined teams. The program held its end-of-season training camp last weekend and had the special opportunity to work with the U.S. Ski Team in a series of clinics and coaching exercises! On Friday, Ski Team members Brian and Taylor Fletcher, Jasper Good, Ben Berend, and Adam Loomis took the U18 and U16 Nordic Combiners out on the road to practice XC technique. Then the Ski Team athletes took the young skiers up on the jump Saturday morning to share their tips and expertise. The older athletes were tremendously helpful to our SSWSC athletes and acted as spectacular role models while working with them.

With the end of the season comes an opportunity to burn those work deposit hours before winter hits! The Jumping/Nordic Combined programs will be winterizing the jumps on Saturday, October 29th and we could use all the help we can get! We will have jobs for all ages and abilities, some come meet us at 10am on Saturday!
