Snowboarding

Snowboarding started our pipe clinics last Sunday (Jan 3). The turn-out was great! We had mainly kids from Boardriderz, Junior Ability and Junior Team attend. The pipe was in great shape. We want to thank Steamboat Resort for building another amazing pipe for this year! Progression was had by all. We plan to continue these pipe clinics every Sunday 12-2pm throughout the season.

Nordic Combined

December saw our first Hitchens Brothers Nordic Excavating Wednesday Night Jump session! This year, we unfortunately are not able to open the series to the public or offer pizza and cookies, but fun was still had by all as athletes tried to fly further than their friends. Alpine

This week marked the first event of the season, and the new year! the SYNC Cup GS races had athletes from multiple clubs safely come together, sans spectators, for some fast paced racing! SSWSC athletes demonstrated how dryland training and their dedicated on-snow training this season have kept their skills honed; there were a number of podium sweeps with SSWSC racers taking home gold, silver, and bronze standings!
