Moguls
The U15 Mogul Group is up and going at the water ramps. The work ethic is amazing and we’re making nice progress both acrobatically and in the gymnastics / trampoline realm. It’s a process that this group is really embracing! Happy to be back out there as always but especially without masks, (both athletes and coaches). They’re following the new rules of not swimming without a lifejacket. This is key out there for everyone in the training area. Looking forward to more progress from this team!
Alpine
U14, U16, and FIS athletes have been enjoying snow time at Copper Mountain, where their winter season has been extended! As a rule of thumb, we aim for 30 days on snow, so SSWSC athletes are traveling to enjoy the last remnants of winter. They aren’t the only ones; athletes have had the pleasure of watching U.S. Ski Team members and non other than Mikaela Shiffrin! It has been great to have the ability to meet, greet, and watch the number 1 skier in the world making use of the same training course!
