Freestyle Moguls TeamSteam Travels to Park City for Project Gold
Braving 45-degree weather and rain, three TeamSteam athletes traveled to Park City last week for Project Gold. Gathering the top junior mogul skiers in the nation, Project Gold is an opportunity for the selected athletes to water ramp with the US Ski Team coaches, tramp at the Center of Excellence, and participate in dryland with the strength and conditioning coach for the US Team. Representing SSWSC were Abby McLarnon, Anabel Ayad, and Jackson True. Peyton Billieson was also named to the camp but is currently recovering from knee surgery. Training in double water ramp sessions at the Utah Olympic Park, the athletes performed over 125 jumps each as they prepare for the upcoming season. Congrats to Abby, Anabel, Jackson, and Peyton!
