Growing up in Europe, Nicole spent her childhood skiing in Austria and Italy. She graduated from the University of Denver in 1998, met her husband, and moved to Steamboat in 2004. After her daughters were born, Nicole gave up her Hotel Management Career and started coaching for the SSWSC while working at the resort as an instructor. Nicole is a PSIA Level 3 certified instructor and Resort Trainer. Nicole and Cedar have been a coaching team since their older children were enrolled in the U10 Program at age 7; now, they all are passionate athletes. Nicole loves coaching the skiing fundamentals to the U10 athletes, as she calls the “magic years.”  As a coach, she can make a difference in an athlete’s life by inspiring them to be their best on and off the mountain.  Nicole also enjoys sharing her technical knowledge with fellow coaches through continuing education trainings.
