U8 Mogul Monkeys went back to the secret cave in Narnia during some Thunderhead laps last weekend, made it up Storm Peak, and paid homage to Buddy Werner. The team then went down Buddy’s to Calf Roper to Rainbow to Hurricane. They skied trees to the right of Hurricane and seemed to find every available drop, definitely keen to explore and push themselves as they continue to improve and gain confidence in their skills.

The team worked on some turn shape, as well as body position, specifically getting more forward in the boot, pushing the shin into the boot as well as hockey stops, and working on upper-lower body separation as well. The day ended Bashor with some taking on the big half pipe and some kids racing a GS course. Thanks to coach Andy Biglow for the report!
