Congratulations to Decker Dean, who has set a new “Home Grown” club Flight Record!

Decker Dean flew 211 meters (697 feet) on his first jump in Planica!  Decker Dean now holds the second longest club flight, behind Alan Alborn, who skied for the SSWSC from 1994-1998 with the record of 221.5 in Planica, Slovenia in March of 2002. Decker now holds the record for our “home grown” athletes; beating 200m set by SSWSC’s Clint Jones. SSWSC is proud to have THREE athletes in the 200m club!

 

Decker Dean is a Jumping athlete who reached the World Cup circuit this season and placed 2nd in the Continental Cup in Willingen, Germany. This is a fantastic accomplishment and we are so excited for him!
