The U14 team completed our qualification series this weekend in Aspen.  The following athletes qualified to compete in Vail March 13th-17th at the Rocky/Central U14 Championships!

Nordic Combined

2022 USA Nordic Junior World Championships Team
The USA will be well represented at the International Ski Federation’s (FIS) Junior World Championships for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined in March. USA Nordic, the national leadership organization for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined, has named a team of 17 athletes to compete in the March 2-6, 2022, event in Zakopane, Poland. Junior Championships in Salisbury, CT
Eleven Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined athletes proudly represented SSWSC at the 2022 Junior Championships last week in Salisbury, CT. Although the average age of the team was much lower this year due to conflicting dates with Junior World Championships, our youngsters stepped up to the challenge of competing against older athletes on an unfamiliar hill. The East Coast weather restricted their training opportunities (only 2 practice jumps before the first competition) but our athletes were confident in themselves and found the rhythm of the hill quickly.
