At the end of the 2023 High School Mountain Bike race season, the Colorado Cycling League honored Blair Seymour, Director of People and Sport Development, with the Outstanding Partner Award. Each year, the Colorado Cycling League recognizes individuals or organizations whose outstanding partnership is integral to the success of the Colorado League’s season.

In the recognition announcement, the Colorado Cycling League said, “The partnership with Blair Seymour, Sport Development Director at the Steamboat Winter Sports Club (SSWSC), began in 2012 and became a reality in 2013. Blair, in consultation with her son Jett and Routt County Riders, devoted countless hours designing a high school mountain bike race venue. Various community members spoke at city council meetings in favor of bringing a Colorado League race to town. This race venue would not be possible without the dedicated support of Blair and the SSWSC staff’s willingness to host us.
