Mia Satkiewicz Brings the Heat to Moguls Comp at Winter Park
The Freestyle Moguls Team competed in Winter Park February 3-4 in the Rocky Mountain Freestyle competition, Winter Heat in Winter Park. The competition took place on the famed Ambush course. Mother nature provided pelting snow all day Saturday, which resulted in huge powder bumps for two single mogul events. The sun came out on Sunday for fast and furious duals.
Mia Satkiewicz was rewarded for her clean and quick turns, taking second overall and first for U19 in the first competition, an all-time best finish for her. Scotty Kane threw down, nailing his cork 720 and taking 14th in the second competition, his best finish to date. Reise Wilson put down her best competition run of the season, finishing just out of the ribbons in 11th place in the second competition. Three TeamSteam competitors made their comeback from injuries - Claire Boyle, Teus Deering, and Shane Mariano-and we look forward to having them back on tour.
