Girls for Gold with Kikkan Randall

A girls and women only event from 2:00-3:00 PM in Olympian Hall at Howelsen Hill.  We welcome all Steamboat girls and women to hear Kikkan’s message about her journey to Olympic gold and empowering women through sport. 
When: Sunday, September 15, 2:00-3:00 PM
Where: Olympian Hall, Howelsen Hill
What: Learn from Kikkan about how she helped create a US women’s XC Team capable of winning at the highest level and how this can be applied to creating successful teams anywhere.  Kikkan Randall is an Olympic and World Champion, founder of Fast and Female, a mom, cancer survivor and key architect of the winning culture of the US women’s cross country team.  Kikkan will be the keynote speaker at the USST Gold Medal Gala in New York City this fall and we are lucky to have her here at the SSWSC!

Kikkan Randall on her Path To Olympic Gold

Kikkan Randall is an Olympic and World Champion, founder of Fast and Female, a mom, cancer survivor and key architect of the winning culture of the US women’s XC Team.  Kikkan will be the keynote speaker at the USST Gold Medal Gala in New York City this fall and we are lucky to have her here at the SSWSC!

What: Hear Kikkan Randall share the inspirational story of her 20+ year career from high school alpine ski racer and cross country runner in Alaska, to Olympian in cross country skiing at age 19, gold medalist at 35, mom and cancer survivor. This event is free and open to the public.
