Rocky Mountain Freestyle Divisional Championships at Telluride
Telluride hosted the Rocky Mountain Freestyle Divisional Championships March 9-10 with nearly 100 mogul athletes from across Colorado. On a course with quick, deep moguls and tricky jump landings, all the athletes had to be on their best game to negotiate Telluride’s Hermit mogul course. TeamSteam entered 15 athletes into the competition and came away with some top-notch results:
Jackson True won singles with an amazing, big air comp run, including his Cork Japan. Not to be outdone, Xander Tatar-Brown won duals with his fantastic Cork Truck. Liam Siefken finished in 7th place with his signature fast run and big air. Shane Mariano was 21st, and Griffin Harvey ended in 35th.
Anabel Ayad took the silver in singles, chopping off over second from first to second run. Izzy Powell earned fifth with the third-highest air scores of the day. Reise Wilson ended up in 11th, Mia Satkiewicz 13th, Claire Boyle 18th, Anouk Bradley 23rd, Gigi Lobeck 30th, Finley Fontaine 28th, and Lyllah Miller 39th. Xander took gold, Liam 5th, Mia 4th, and Izzy 8th in duals.
