U14 Alpine Team Celebrates Hard Work at the Steamboat Ski Resort Giant Slalom Races
The U14 alpine team had a fun first race on home soil at Steamboat Ski Resort! All the athletes competed well and skied to their potential in at least one of the four races! According to Head Coach Joe Paul, “The theme for the races was “Celebrate” based on advice Performance Mindset Coach, Luke Brosterhous gave to the group last week that “Race day is a celebration of the work you’ve put in.” The team also aimed to demonstrate the SSWSC Core Values, which I thought the group did well!”
