Enduro Team Competes in Winter Park at Revolution Enduro Series

The Steamboat MTB Enduro competition and amateur teams went to Winter Park for the second stop of the Revolution Enduro series. Everyone was super stoked about this race because it was a track many athletes knew well and had raced before. Practice went almost smoothly—no crashes but many suspension issues—Robbie Wodnik and Quinn Dressen both blew their rear shocks in practice. Other than that, the pre-ride was as good as possible. The rear shocks were covered as some of the competition team coaches left early in the morning from Steamboat to deliver working suspension. We had one athlete in the men’s 16-18, Ryan Montgomery, who finished 13 with a time of 17:40.95. We had five athletes in the men’s 13-15. Quinn Dressen finished on the podium in 3 with a time of 18:02.71. Robbie Wodnik finished 6 with a time of 18:22.7. Oliver Goddard finished 19 with a time of 19:56.94. Vander Zuck finished 20 with a time of 20:08.15. Miles Chase finished 26 with a time of 21:57.03.

We had three athletes In the men’s 10-12. Anderson Agopian finished on the podium in 3rd with a time of 13:52.01. Paddock Whitten also finished on the podium in 4th with a time of 14:09.48. Winston Whitten finished 8th with a time of 15:41.24. Overall, it was a fantastic race to be a part of, and seeing the competition and amateur teams interlink throughout the weekend was really cool. The athletes all pushed as hard as they could, and it shows in not only their results but their stoke at the end of the weekend as well.
