SSWSC moguls athlete Scotty Kane is exploring aerial skiing and embracing the full meaning of freestyle. Having been invited to Project Gold, extended to the top finishers at last season’s Junior National Championships, Scotty is currently in Lake Placid, NY with other up and coming aerial skiers. Scotty performed his first official double flips off a true double kicker at the Utah Olympic Park a few weeks ago and is now continuing training his jumps at the Lake Placid Aerial facility as well as staying at the Olympic Training Center. Impressed with his initial jumping, the US Ski team Aerial coaches are creating opportunities to keep Scotty flipping and twisting. Congratulations, Scotty!
