Senior Snowboard Team Competes in Futures Tour Slopestyle
The Snowboard Senior Team was in Park City, Utah, on February 14 for their first USASA Futures Tour Slopestyle event of the season. The Futures Tour is a step up from the regional competitions, and athletes knew this was going to be a heightened challenge to see where they stood amongst competitors from across North America. Practice day was as good as you could ask for - bluebird skies, perfect temps, and a great venue. Comp day brought 4” of snow overnight, so conditions were tricky as speed was changing during every session. Carter Einfeld, Mason Kemp, and Parson Cotter were each able to land top-to-bottom runs even in challenging conditions. They are excited to use what they learned in Park City to continue improving until their next Futures Tour event in Mammoth, CA, at the beginning of March.
