Snowboarding

The SBX team has continued to be a dominating force on the Nor-Am and World Cup tours. In Solitude Utah the Steamboat SBX team brought five athletes and two forerunners to compete in the domestic World Cup. Several athletes competed in their debut World Cup, while Rosie Mancari earned a Gold medal with US Team Athlete Lindsey Jacobellis in the SBX Team event, as well as 7th in the individual event.

After Solitude Rosie, Colleen Healey, Cole Johnson, & Cody Brown headed to Europe for World Cups in Bulgaria, Germany, & Spain. While Austin Leal lead the Nor-Am crew to several podiums, victories, & personal bests throughout North America.

Mancari & Healey both earned spots to compete in the 2017 World Championships in Sierra Nevada, Spain.

Although the melting snow in Steamboat reminds us the season is coming to an end, the SBX team has a few remaining races with World Cup finals in Veysonnaz, Switzerland starting in a few days. Followed by USASA Nationals in Copper, and Nor-Am finals in Mt. Tremblant, Quebec.
