Snowboarding

We had a great week in Copper for USASA Nationals. Some highlights from the week:
• To start the week off Jacy Werner was voted the “Kindest” competitor in the Rocky Mountain Series
• Rochelle Weinberg our youngest Nationals competitor brought home 1st overall in the Ruggie 7 & under division! 
• Colleen Healey brought home GOLD in the Snowboardcross Nor Am
• Mick Dierdorff raced to second place in the Snowboardcross Nor Am
• Winston Vaughan raced slalom with a cast and placed 2nd in a competitive youth division.
• Marty Boyd had the toughest competition with 93 competitors in Slopestyle Breaker (12-13) Division. He just missed the 8 person final placing 10th. 
• Marty Boyd showed consistency in his tricks at the night rail jam and brought home bronze!
• Walker Overstake had impressive results with a 1st place in Slalom and 2nd place in Giant Slalom
• SSWSC had an impressive 41 competitors
